Shawn Jarecki is the managing attorney for Green Mountain Lawyers in Killington, Vermont. Shawn has a background in real estate, environmental, and civil litigation matters. Raised in Pittsfield, Vermont, he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Marist College before obtaining both his Juris Doctor and a Master’s degree in Environmental Law and Policy, summa cum laude, from Vermont Law School in South Royalton.

He is known for combining practical problem-solving with a strong understanding of Vermont’s regulatory and environmental landscape. Licensed to practice in Vermont and New York, as well as the United States District Court for the District of Vermont, Shawn has represented individuals, businesses, and property owners across the state.
In addition to his legal practice, Shawn has maintained an active commitment to environmental and outdoor organizations throughout Vermont, including Sugarbush Ski Patrol.
